Workspaces
A team workspace lets its members access shared projects. Workspace roles are Owner and Member.
Choose a workspace
Use the workspace dropdown at the top of the dashboard sidebar. My Workspace is your personal default. The dropdown lists your active memberships, including team workspaces and organization workspaces such as Scribie. Choose Load more when available to show additional workspaces. Hover over the selector to see the full selected workspace name.
Selecting a workspace switches immediately, without confirmation. Dashboard, Projects and (in the Scribie workspace) Editable files use the selected workspace, and its ID appears in the URL. Switching while browsing Projects or Editable files keeps that view. Choose My Workspace to return to your personal files. Referrals appears only in My Workspace.
Choose Create workspace in the dropdown, enter a name, then choose Create. An empty name shows an error beside the name field. After creation, the workspace members page opens so you can invite your team.
Browse workspace projects
The existing Dashboard keeps the same overview cards and recent projects as your personal dashboard. Counts cover the whole workspace, not just the visible page. While workspace counts are being prepared, the cards show a dash rather than incomplete numbers.
Choose Projects or View All to browse that workspace in the existing Projects table. The table includes an Owner column; recent dashboard cards show an Owner label. API-created projects show the creating organization; after transfer, they show the current human owner's display name when available. Missing owner details use a neutral label, not an email address. Ordinary Dashboard and Projects navigation keeps your selected workspace; returning to a personal destination clears it.
Choose a project to open it. Organization workspace membership alone does not allow editing: ungranted projects open read-only. Team workspaces retain their existing role and file-specific access rules; switching workspaces never grants new permissions.
In the Scribie workspace, choose Editable files directly beneath Projects in the sidebar to use the same Projects table with only files you can currently edit. Other workspaces and My Workspace do not show this item. This includes genuine current ownership and valid file-specific edit grants or shares. Creating a file does not give permanent editing rights after ownership changes. Read-only, revoked, expired, or locked permissions do not qualify. Permissions refresh while this view is visible, at most every 30 seconds and when you return to the window.
Use Next to move to the next workspace page and Previous to return. Both buttons remain available: Previous on the first page and Next on the last page show a brief message without changing the page. A workspace page may be empty even when later pages contain eligible files; keep browsing until the list is exhausted. Workspace pagination does not display a total based on the visible page. Title search filters the current page; content search retains its existing authorized-content behavior and is not limited by this workspace selection. Workspace selection changes the data you browse, not your editing permissions. Team workspace files still follow their existing role and file-specific permissions. Your personal dashboard data and numbered Projects pagination remain unchanged.
Accept an invitation
Open the link in your invitation email and sign in with the verified email address that received it. The page shows the workspace and the person who invited you. Choose Accept to join. Decline returns to the dashboard without using the invitation; it does not revoke the link.
Expired, revoked, already-used, or invalid links show a message and a Go to dashboard link. Ask the workspace owner for a new invitation. If you are signed in with a different account, switch to the verified account that received the invitation; workspace details are not shown to the wrong account.
View workspace members
Select a workspace you own, then choose Manage members in the workspace dropdown at the top of the dashboard sidebar. This action is not shown for My Workspace or workspaces where you are a member. The members page lists names, email addresses, and roles. Use Load more members when there are more results.
Invite and manage members
Only owners can invite or remove members and manage invitations.
Enter an address under Invite by email, then choose Invite. Invalid addresses show an error beside the field. New invitations use the Member role. The invitations section shows whether the email is queued, sent, or failed; creating an invitation does not guarantee email delivery.
Use an invitation's More options menu to Resend or Revoke. Resending replaces the previous link and is limited to three sends while the invitation remains pending and unexpired. Revoking prevents the invitation from being accepted. A refused menu action shows a toast.
To remove a member, open More options beside their name and choose Remove member. Review the named confirmation, then choose Remove. The member loses access to that workspace's shared projects. Cancel makes no change. The workspace must keep an owner; owner removal is not offered in this screen.
