Sound Notifications

Enabling Sounds
- Go to Tools → Settings
- Select the Audio tab
- Toggle individual sound notifications on or off
Available Notifications
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Operation Complete | Plays when proofreading or formatting finishes |
| Error | Plays when an operation fails |
| Chat Response | Plays when Donna responds in the chat panel |
| Transcription Complete | Plays when your audio finishes transcribing |
Volume Control

When to Use
Sound notifications are helpful when:
- Multitasking - Work on something else while AI proofreads
- Long transcripts - Get notified when processing completes
- Background work - Know when Donna responds without watching
Sounds only play when the operation takes more than a few seconds to complete.
AI Settings
Control how the AI behaves when proofreading and formatting.
Temperature
Temperature controls how "creative" or "deterministic" the AI is. Lower values produce more consistent results.
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Proofread | 0.2 | Grammar and punctuation fixes |
| Format | 0.0 | Court reporting formatting |
| Chat | 0.5 | Donna chat responses |
