Profile Settings
Customize your HeyDonna profile and personal preferences.
Accessing Your Profile
Navigate to your profile page:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner
- Select Profile from the dropdown
- Or go directly to
/dashboard/profile
Profile Information
Name
Update your display name:
- Click the Edit button next to your name
- Enter your first and last name
- Click Save
Your name appears in:
- Project history
- Shared documents
- Exported transcript certifications (if applicable)
Avatar
Change your profile picture:
- Click on your current avatar
- Choose Upload Photo
- Select an image from your device
- Crop if needed
- Click Save
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (max 5MB)
If you signed in with Google, your Google profile picture is used by default. You can override it by uploading a custom avatar.
Connected Accounts
View accounts linked to your HeyDonna profile:
- Email - Your primary login email
- Google - If you use Google Sign-In
- Apple - If you use Apple Sign-In
To connect or disconnect accounts, visit your security settings.
Security Settings
Changing Your Password
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click Update Password
Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- Mix of letters and numbers recommended
Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security:
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the verification code
- Save your recovery codes
Keep your recovery codes in a safe place. They're the only way to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
Preferences
Email Notifications
Control which emails you receive:

Default Project Settings
Set your preferred defaults for new projects:
- Default project type (General or Legal)
- Default template (for Legal projects)
Deleting Your Account
If you need to delete your account:
- Go to Profile → Delete Account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click Delete Account
Account deletion is permanent. All your projects, transcripts, and data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Tips
- Keep your profile information up to date
- Use a recognizable avatar for collaboration
- Enable two-factor authentication for better security
- Check your notification preferences to avoid unwanted emails
